CNC turning is a fundamental technique in modern metalworking, where precision and efficiency go hand in hand. This process uses advanced lathes controlled by computers, allowing complex and precise parts to be produced quickly and with high repeatability. Whether you are looking for single pieces, small batches or larger production volumes, CNC turning offers a flexible and reliable solution. At Combifit Metalworking, we have the knowledge and advanced technologies to make your projects a reality.

How does CNC turning work?
The CNC turning process begins with the design of the product in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. We then convert this design into a CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) program, which creates a program that controls the machine and defines the required operations. The workpiece is placed in the lathe, then the machine rapidly rotates the material around a fixed axis. As the material rotates, the cutting tool moves along the surface to apply the desired shape.
The tools used in CNC turning are extremely precise and can cut materials in small layers, allowing for a perfect finish. Because the machine is automated, this operation can be performed again and again with the same high accuracy, leading to consistent results in mass production.
