SP 2000
The SP-2000 has been functionally inspected and certified by Lloyd's entirely according to Inspection Requirement 71. It has been pressure tested to 50 bar and falls into the highest accuracy class (NK1). It owes this high reliability to the low-friction construction of the plunger.
The SP-2000 is equipped with the necessary connection points for operating pressure (2 x Pb), outlet pressure (Pu) and inlet pressure (Pi). The free flow, at an inlet pressure of 1.5 bar, is over 10 m3/hour

Material
The choice of material (Aluminum and stainless steel incl an effective protection) guarantees long-lasting operation and works well at low temperature (-20°C) and at high temperature (+50°C). The metal structural parts are resistant to 425°C.
Maintenance
Periodic maintenance should be performed according to the guidelines (which are they?), unless the TAO requires otherwise.
Operation
The design ensures that when the exhaust pressure Pu to be secured exceeds the set pressure of the valve, the inlet pressure Pi flows into the measuring chamber. This immediately causes a ball to close the access of the outlet pressure Pu and the three-way plunger is driven down. The switching of the plunger creates a direct connection between the inlet pressure Pi connection and the outlet port Pb to the adjusting cylinder. This closes the safety valve and keeps it in the closed position. The SP-2000 cannot return to the guard position by itself, but must be reset on site. The SP-2000 operates completely autonomously.
Reset
After the fault is cleared and the outlet pressure is restored to its nominal value, pressing the single reset button returns the pilot mechanism to the guard position. This causes the rotary cylinder to empty and the safety valve can be opened manually.
The setting range
Removing the adjustment cap on top of the valve provides access to the adjustment ring, which is used to set the desired response pressure.
Different versions of the SP allow an adjustment range from 1 mbar to 8.2 bar. Please contact us for the appropriate version if necessary.
